I know I’m leaving this late, but I started setting up today and there’s a lot of weirdness happening. I have a pixlite 16 channel, last year it ran 8 mini trees and 4 lines. Each tree was one 5m 2811 strip, each line was 3 ws2811 strips. Have had it all running off 7 outputs, and it worked fine. Now I have much flickering, not following the sequence and when I connect to the controller and power the strip just lights up, flashes, basically anything it isn’t supposed to do. I was thinking of stripping it all back, one prop per output and send all power via external power supplies. For the strings just inject at the end. Any tips?

You'll need to diagnose further what the problem is coming from and what it is affecting. Without seeing any setups or anything like that I'd look first to make sure you haven't got channels screwed up somewhere. Turn on 1 prop at a time and confirm that only that prop and nothing else is coming on.
