I am having difficulty with inserting a photo and movie into a new post. I used the usual drag and drop method, but I get a message that the file extensions are wrong for both the .jpg and .MOV files. Any ideas?

Movie files currently can't be uploaded directly into forum posts, this is most likely the problem. Pictures can though (and I've just verified this is the case). Do you receive an error when attaching just the jpg picture file?

For the movie, it should be possible to upload small (<4mb) mp4, mov, avi or wmv files using the Media gallery area - you'll want to create an album if you don't have one, and then you can embed movie clips (and photos) in your post(s) using the [MEDIA] media gallery embed (the camera icon next to the '+' icon in the post editor). Otherwise, I'd suggest uploading to YouTube or Vimeo where adding a link in your post will automatically insert a video player.
