I am using 18 gauge 4 core alarm wire for injection. I had a long run and decided to save some wire and use 2 cores for one drop and then extend down the roof line with the other core for that injection. My question is after my first injection where I cut into the wire to pull the 2 cores out...would it have beneficial to then connect the cut cores past that injection onto the two carrying on to the second injection...so basically the long run would be 2 core until it reached the first injection point then I would make it 4 core, 2 for v+ and 2 for v-...like this

Why not use 2 wires for + and two wires for -
At the 1st inject point, splice a short drop/connect wire like a 'T'
and then continue to the 2nd and end there

| 1st Inject
use 2 wires for + ________|_______________ 2nd

| 1st inject
use 2 wires for - ________|_______________ 2nd
