I found out via Yagoona_Lights (Ben) on chat last night that paypal was taking a bite out of all the paypal payments I've been receiving. I'd assumed that whatever the payment amount was was going into my account without really looking at it. It wasn't. The result of this oversight is that I have been shortchanging myself with paypal transactions.
I'll have to talk to my web guru about how/if I can have a sliding scale for direct deposit vs paypal payments for my online checkout.
From now until Friday 18th July paypal and direct deposit will be charged at the same rate. Any purchase after the 18th will have a 5% surcharge for paypal payments.

Hi Alan. It's common that the seller pays the PayPal fees not the purchaser just like Visa and the rest.
I have been on-charged the fees by the seller in the past so you need to do it otherwise margins are :'( :'( :'(
