Hi All,

Adding a projector this year and have it setup currently but I'm having clarity issues. Playing a video file on the sequence preview or just the file itself on the PC everything is clear and crisp. Once projected onto the wall it's pixely and grainy. Any idea on how to get it to project a clean crisp picture. For reference is a photo of the bluey sequence.

Ok so I'm going to guess you're using the video effect in xLights into the model. What this means is the resolution will suffer substantially as you've likely set the matrix up as 192x108, essentially reducing the resolution by 99%
This means every "pixel" of data actually takes up 100 real projector pixels (10x10).
It looks fine on your house preview because you've got it shrunk right down and you're brain makes up for it.

It's basically a limitation of the method you're using. Keep in mind that this is designed to emulate pixels, not act as a video device.

The only way to get full quality video is to pop the source MP4 video file onto the Virtual Matrix FPP and name it the same as the sequence.
However, this means it's 100 % video for that sequence and no other effecs that you created in xLights will be displayed.
