A quick question regarding these 27channel controllers for Big W lights, the controllers say up to 24V? How do they handle having a power source over that amount?

If your referring to Rays 27ch controllers, they work fine at around 30 volts.
I've ran some for the last 2 years at 29V and havent had any issues.

And to further confirm this, have run mine at 27v for the last three years, with no issues. (apart from a couple of them dying requiring swapping out, but that was the DMX side of things)

Alan (AAH) and David_AVD both looked over the components on those boards and from memory, they worked out that up to 31v would be no issue at all.

(Ray also said it'd be fine, but you take what he says with a grain of salt)
