Nope, I didn't need it for my setup. I guess that feature is useful if you are running pixels from your pi?

actually the board can supply the power for the pixels not the pi and the board can supply the power for the pi also

great idea you want to handle 1 lot and I'll do the other? we have 15 so far not including Troy's , I think if we get 20 in case someone else asks and Troy maybe takes 2 or 3 ? I'm in NSW (border NSW QLD) btw
