Received Sequences, need a tutorial on how to use.

So I got some sequences from Xtreme and they are certainly filled with amazing effects, and I'm sure will be great... ONCE I figure out how to map them and use them.

Ron does a great job with his YouTube channel in trying to teach others how to go about using xLights and his sequences. I feel like he's an advance user and here I am trying to just get my first sequence up and reasonably running.

So, would anyone have some simple tutorials on how I go about mapping a sequence to my own setup?

I've been trying to follow Ron's youtube, but it's obvious that I'm just a novice trying to learn from an advanced user and I need things dumbed down for my first sequence.

You should be able to search the xTreme Sequences youtube channel and find videos for the basics on mapping sequences. He has done some beginner videos on mapping. Also, maybe check out the Virtual Christmas Summit videos as I think they also have some intro mapping. Lastly, check Greg Macaree's video channel as he has done a bunch of newbie videos for xLights which includes mapping. He started a new 2026 series but he has not hit mapping yet.
