Recommendations on Leaping Arches Material

Have you added the arches to your display this year? I am very curious what it looks like with that PP tube.
 
Hi Noel
I started this year and made my arches with 25mm electrical conduit. Used a bench drill and made a jig same jig that Lawrence's lights made and drilled 13mm holes every 50mm and installed 12v bullet pixles. Was happy with how they looked.
 
thanks bud! I found this supplier also. Going to try my hand at a couple of local agriculture places tomorrow. If no luck at least I know where to get them online
 
What kind of business/wholesaler carries this stuff? What is it's original intended purpose. Freight to Darwin is murder if cannot find local

Not sure what sort of effect your after but the clear and black will probably always give you that tiger stripe look which you may or may not like? I have tried other ways but honestly the opaque stuff just works best.

The stuff I used on mine was ribbed grey water drain hose, and I was happy with the outcome. You can see the ribs when the light is going.

That would have a pattern. Would depend on what your paying for it, and what effect you want I suppose as Adsy said.
 
Thanks. The ribbed stuff is about half the price, and grey water drain hose would be a quarter the price! I saw the pics of your build @Dreamin looking at your post history and I presume you've tried your darndest to find a clear version of those pipes at that price point?
