Reminder: This is a hobby

While we’re on mistakes, I hung a snowflake 60 degree rotated. Nobody has noticed except me! I countered it in XLights, but some of the effects don’t seem to take that into consideration so I will fix it next time I feel like climbing up that tall ladder…
Well, not to say that I might or might not have done this but I rotated my GE Rosa Wreaths within xLights because for some reason the talking faces were lying down when talking. rotating the model and rendering fixed this.

My Mega tree is wired backwards this year, all the best effects are facing the back. Oh well. Nobody knows but me! 🤷‍♂️

Hung my HD snowflakes upside down. Didnt notice until the snow falling effect was now falling upwards. As with others i have been the only one who has noticed.

Once again, we have hit the silly season for our lights.
Some shows are switching on, some people are still preparing, and EVERYONE is fixing that niggly bug they have.

This thread, and more importantly, @djgra79's first post, deserves the attention every year. And on that note, I am stickying it for the month of December.

Don't stress. Enjoy what you're doing. Remember _why_ you're doing it.
Let the resources that are out there help you - ACL Chat, Facebook, Zoom Room, The guy down the street, one of your blinky mates. Even if it's just to have a yarn about how Controller X is misbehaving.

Well Said....it can get over whelming but there is definitely alot of resources and help out there....reach out people if you need assistance..!! It is a hobby ..don't let it overtake the joy of the festive season....at the end of the day......I've always said...people who come and visit are happy to see LIGHTS no matter how big how small and the mistakes or failures we see the viewing audience haven't even got a clue what is going on with your show...Enjoy the lights, Enjoy the interaction with folk and most of all enjoy the ones that mean the most....Merry Xmas to all!!
