Remote Falcon with xSchedule

Looking to integrate Remote Falcon into my display this year. My plan is to have about a 15 minute show run every 30 minutes. For the other 15 minutes I wanted to just play a fairly static sequence with a few mega and minitree effects. Ideally, when someone stops to view the lights during the "static" 15 minutes" I want them to be able to access my Falcon Remote page and select a song or two to play. My testing has been unsuccessful.

How would you handle this?

I was attempting a playlist with the actual songs (~15 min) and then a separate playlist with a looping static display. However, once it gets to the static display you are not able to select a sing from the Remote Falcon.

Any ideas?i posted this on DIYC but no one had any suggestions. Thanks.

I'm really struggling with this. I can get it to work with a single scheduled looping playlist but have had no luck with creating a 10-15 minute show that fires every 30 minutes and then a separate static playlist that plays for the remainder of the 30 minutes until the next show starts where I want to allow users to select songs only during that playlist. Also, for some reason RF always thinks I have an active schedule so the website template never shows the after hours messaging.
 
I don't have it set up as a background playlist. I have two separate playlists with the priorities you suggested. I thought background playlists play on top of other running playlists.
 
Well Keith ... its getting there. I updated to 54 and now see the option to use Remote Falcon only with certain playlists. So I now have a short show kicking off every 30 minutes with a apriority of 15. I also have a playlist with a static sequence with a priority of 1 that also runs every 30 minutes which should kick off right after the scheduled show. During the show remote falcon shows as off air as expected and once the static sequence fires RF now shows as active and taking requests. I let the static sequence play for a few seconds and then pick a song. The selected song appears in xSchedule highlighted in green and the RF log indicates it should be playing the selected song but the song never plays. It just hangs. I'm so close.

Specifically the log says ...

Asking remote falcon for the song we should be playing.

Christmas Every Day was the song I selected so it knew it should play it but it almost immediately removed it from the queue but then indicated it should play it.
