I thought I'd pass this along - I found the company that makes these 6803 pixel nodes and RGB modules:

I'm working up some quotes from them now. This appears, based on the part numbers on the items I have from Ray Wu, to be his supplier. They also have lots of other 6803 chipped modules other than the light strings.

Another company that also makes the sealed modules is RightLeds: http://www.rightleds.com - their stuff appears to be a bit higher in price based on a quote I received from them for LED 5050 modules.

I got a quote back (less shipping) from Aidsen LED on 5050 LED modules. It was .70 USD per module vs .79 for Ray's. So about a 10% drop in price.

Interesting, RGB Pixels are made by many companies in China now, just about every LED factory seems to do them.

and only a couple make somethign i'd bother to buy. I went to the Led light Expo in Ghangzhou earlier this year, there would easily have been 200+ compnays selling them. Only found a couple that made something solid
