G'day Fellas, I have purchased 2 of these seed pixel curtains from Ray Wu: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100....order_list.order_list_main.85.21ef1802SuS1Xd and wanting to arrange them side by side for a very simple display at my sisters house. I had also purchased the SP801e controller which I had thought would control this. Well, I have all sorts of issues mostly due to my lack of understanding the product. Firstly each curtain contains 20 wide x 60 deep pixels for a total of 1200 pixels each x 2 provides 2400 pixels. The SP801e controller only has capacity for 1024 pixels per port. I first thought I could make each curtain 20 wide x 50 deep leaving the bottom few rows blank but it appears it doesn't work like that. I am assuming the signal travels down and back up in the same length due to the 4 wire. Can somebody please provide a very simple solution so I can get this going. The matrix effects on the controller look great for what we need. Thanks so much.

The simplest solution I can think of is to have the start of the 2 curtains in the middle so the 2 ends that don't work are on the left and right.
The better solution would be to break each half of the curtain to 10x60 and then split the whole thing across the 4 outputs that the SP801e appears to have.
I have no knowledge of how the controller gets configured and also don't have too much of an idea about the curtain. It does look like it would be easy to split it at the top though as the data looks like it goes in from left, down to bottom, returns to the top with a return wire and then gets passed to the next column.

Ok thanks, this gives me somewhere to start. Splitting the curtains 10 x 60 sounds like the most logical way forward. I sent an email to Ray Wu asking for any suggestions but had no response. Before purchasing he had a link showing compatible controllers (which SP801e was one) but I don't think he considered the maximum pixel output. Grateful for your help, thanks.
