Hi,

I'm trying to find out what the smallest timing allowed for an effect is, reason being I'm trying to sync it to some mp3's and found that the lowest it goes is down to .05 sec
e.g. If I add an effect at 0.4 secs and I want to end the effect at 0.52 I can only move it to 0.5 or 0.55.

Is there some preferences I'm missing somewhere? Mind you I'm still new to the software and couldn't find anything on my initial search.

Thanks.

A sequence at 40fps is 25ms (0.025) so that would be your minimum I would imagine
Edit: got the maths wrong

I just answered my own question after opening up a new sequence.
40fps (25ms increments) and 20fps (50ms) which lines up with the sequence timeline

I realise that this is an old thread but you can edit this to whatever you want by going to File -> Sequence Settings and clicking the question mark next to the 'Sequence Timing' field. You'd need a controller that supports the frame rate too.
