I’m adding some letters to my display next year (15 inch from efl). Letters will be displayed vertically saying Fairfield Nights. I’m looking for any tips when it comes to sequencing. I mostly purchase my sequences and map. I know some sequences will have letters. Some won’t. I plan on adding them to my whole house group too. Thanks!

It has a lot to do with how you want them to look. If the message is important, on solid color that matches the sequence (like I do w/ tune to - pick one color out of the sequence for TUNE TO and another for the 97.3). Whole house group + candy canes mapping also works well in purchased sequences.

Another question regarding the "Fairfield Nights" sign.

Pixels get pushed starting at the lower left and end at the lower right. If you're putting the letters left to right (like most people) it works out very nicely for wiring. Since I'm going vertical with my words I either need to add the 3 core wire from one letter to the next add pig tails for each letter. Which method do you think would be better or does it even make a difference? I can get a 100ft spool of wire for $30. Seems to be more cost efficient by combining three letters before adding a pigtail. Or, even making the whole word on one strand.

Thoughts?
