Show not playing correctly between xlights anf FPP

Evening brain trust. This has me stumped. I have been scheduling and chekcing everything in xlights. I load the .fseq files into FPP along with the audio files but when they come onto play, it is like a group is overlaying the entire display. For example if i have singing faces running, and they are not in any group in Xlights, they dont even sing outside when playing but it i like a whole house sequence overrides all the items?????? This has been doing it for 4 nights now. I have made ev ery change possible. I am running off a MacBook so the only thing i can think o f is that when i import the .fseq files they are being corrupted or changed somehow. Anyone had this issue before?
