Hi I’m having ago at setting up my first prop
I have 4 singing bulbs 600 nodes in total running off baldrick controller
Do I link all four with power injection to one channel or do I give each one it’s own
Thanks Greg

Check the maximum your controller can control. I'd give each one their own channel at 600 nodes each. (Just my opinion, but it is based on having 34 singing faces.)

You can do 750 nodes on a port of the Baldrick, so 4x150 = 600 pixels would work on a single port. But, you can use more than one port, and I'd recommend using more than one port if it's easier for you. 4 on one, each separate ports, 2 x 2, lots of good choices.

Thanks great that one sorted
So in theory I have a 1200 light tree with it’s own baldrck controller do I use a 150 lights per channel or do I join them together with power injection

1200 lights ... should be split up a bit. This will have a lot to do with what's easiest. If you put it together so it just goes bottom to top, then you'd need one port per string, but if you have it so that the data can travel up one string and down the next, or up every other hole and then back down in the holes in between, you can chain a few strands together, and add more power down at the bottom. It comes down to physical factors, personal preference, etc... I like having one controller dedicated to the tree, easy setup, and then I just plug it into the ports and done. But, you can squeeze a lot more pixels onto the same controller and maybe save a bit on controllers.

Remember the topper! For a Megatree I would push each strand as alternating nodes so I start and stop at the bottom of the string. Then this would allow me to easily put 2 strings per port for only 6 ports and have 2 ports left over for the topper!
