Looks like there is enough interest on this subject, so i will plan to do a piece on 3D printers with a demo making a couple of little pieces.
After playing with my 3D printer and the way prices and features are heading with these printers, within a couple of years most DIYers will wonder how they did without a 3D printer, so I believe it is a very relavent topic to our hobby.

the Sunday will be more hands on and we would love everyone to bring there controllers and show use how they set there's up from the beginning of how to install them in enclosures to setting them up with fuses and config.
so if your lost on what to do next bring them along and we can help you out. there is no shame in asking what do I do next. the only Dumb question is the one you do not ask.
I was thinking we will do a bit of soldering lessons also. I will bring a soldering iron but if you have one and are having trouble getting the best from your soldering iron bring it along and we can show you some tips on how to get the best out of your iron. I know there is a few that are very good solderers in our group so why not learn off them.
same thing there if your having issues with some lights bring them along and your controller and we can work on getting it all sorted for you.
