Well the Display coming along... just a couple of small items left to build.

The wife didn't like the boring white candy canes, so we made our own "daycor" version

Dave, I like your use of Pentatonix. I have found their music great for sequencing plus I just plain like it.

Today we started put up our display / finish building....


Plus we decided that we wanted to keep our display safe, so installed 6 4K cameras around my house.. 3 are being used to keep an eye on our display..

And tested all my roof pixels to go up over the next couple of days

Today I got “Pix” & “El” up...



They can also lay flat in the weather looks to be bad.. eg high winds

After spending a lot of time in the xlights zoom chat over the last couple of days I have found that a lot of problems people are having is to do with power... eg do I need to power inject or is it a bad pixel ... so I just built this

It’s a 5v to 24v panel meter with ray wu 3pin on one side and a 2pin on the other

This means you can plug into the out of a prop and see what’s the voltage is..

A lot easier then trying to use a multimeter

Also can use to check volt on your contorller too

Got all my house items up and running last night...

Only missing my sing blubs... they are on my roof, but folded down for now-- Bad weather on the way

Hey All
Well my Display is up and running.. everything has been going great until yesterday.. FM transmitter died..

But a msg and a phone call later the great @LawrenceDriveLights is lending me his spare until I Have a new one.. 2 Nights with out music is better than 5 to 6..

This once again proves how much of a great community we have not only on ACL but also the xlights community across the world..
I have been help people all across the world in xlights zoom meetings and they keep asking what I can do to pay you back..

Its simple.. Help someone when you can.. This might be your 1st year but next year there will be a whole heap of new 1st years..
