Taking video of the light show

Can anyone tell me what everyone is using to take video of their light show? I've tried several different ways including turning the white balance off. Trying to do video of my led light show, just never comes out well. Thanks, Cougar69

One of the standard tips is to pick the time of night you take the video. If you take it at dusk,you can see the lights much better than when it is dark.

Last year I got a gopro on a recommendation on here - I found it did a great job at picking up the colours and also being wide angled, I could film from my verge instead of having to put the camera on the other side of the road (and then hope no cars go past which is never the case at my house!)
