Hello,
I have just been handed 75m of WS2801 pixel strands and am not sure how to control them. Previously, I've controlled WS2811 strands using a neat library that bitbangs the pixels via an FTDI chip: https://github.com/PaintYourDragon/p9813. However, this library is not compatible with 2801 pixels.
I need to be able to independently drive 10 strands of pixels with simple "tracer" patterns. I'm happy to control via serial/ethernet/magic as long as it works.
Most importantly, I need a solution for this built and ready to go by the middle of next week. Does anybody have any ideas? I live in Sydney and would prefer to source locally, but am happy to pay exorbitant shipping fees if I have to.
Thanks guys!
Nick
