Using Videos in a Matrix

Hey guys,

We've decided to step up this year and use a matrix in our show. Can anyone suggest what the best way to download Christmas videos (such as Santa walking around inside the house) and other videos we could use.

Something to keep in mind, whether its nodes, strip or P10 panels, these are low resolution matrix displays. In other words, there is quite a distance between the individual pixels as compared to a TV or monitor.
As such if you have a HD video that you want to display on it, it will not look anywhere near as good as what you see on screen or in original video source. Even some SD videos don't always translate onto the matrix as well, so make sure to experiment on your actual matrix first if you can, to avoid potential disappointment come Dec 1st.
