Hi all, Apologies if this is repeat of a previous request of information, but I have not been able to find the info I am looking for.
I have an rPi-28D+ from Hanson Electronics that I am utilising as the beginnings of a small light display. As well as utilising multiple channels of WS2811 Pixels, I have bought an 8ch DMX controller that I am hoping to utilise for some of my old "dumb" 230v lights.
My question relates to programming this in X-Lights- When visualising the controller I do not see a DMX line. Is the DMX line the "serial port" that is shown?
And when programing these DMX outputs in X-Lights, what is the process with this?
Do I assign a specific channel number for each DMX object, or do I create each DMX object under the 28D controller, and then assign this a DMX channel via the "DMX Channel" or "DMX Value"
