Hi,


Looking to order some pixels soon.


Is there any changes to Pixels over the last 12 months, each year seem to be better, or changes made.


I am looking at


12v node pixels


12v flat pixels


5v flat strip 30 Led per metre


All water proof


Any suggestions or links.

One current problem (pun intended) is a very common design flaw in 12V pixel nodes. They draw more than 50mA per node when they should only draw 30mA. This does make them slightly brighter (like 5V is) but the extra current causes voltage drop, an increase in power consumption and therefore a reduction in the number of pixels per power supply.

Are you looking for WS2811 or WS2801-compatible pixels?
