Two guesses:

1) Professional goes to Disney World! (I would thing it would be 10's of thousands being that they can control ever light bulb threw out every park from one computer. I've seen it, took a "back" stage tour a few years ago)

2)Non-professional would go to the R/V place in Tenn., USA, something shack.

As for "residental" displays, I'd think Phil would be up there seeing how he's got something like 8k channels - no?

If phils at 8k, then hes not the winner. My "domestic home show" is just over 12k channels.

But elements; its not that many;

Front lawn carpet
ridge grid
gutter grid
comet star
deck grid
rgb floods

Just 6.

Think we need a new contest, number of elements instead of channels

If that's the case, I'm at about 115 elements - each of which are separate items connected with CAT5 cable.

If quantity alone makes the display. There are plenty of displays with "lots" of lights that don't look good.

Perhaps one of the wisest things said today.. Lots of lights don't equal great dispaly.

And ultimately nor does lot's of channels make a good show. :)

Andrew, for private residential displays you and I would be on the leading edge surely.

For non-residential and commercial then it would be interesting to find out.

I think it's safe to say that the members of ACL collectively hold the record for highest average channel count and without a doubt, the largest quantity of RGB elements/lights.

According to the article in PC, Seaworld is running just over 400,000 channels.
