actually you can export .obj from Sketchup Make 2017. I just did it myself a few days ago.
Tried using Hover to create a 3D image of my house. Unfortunately my Hover didn't work due to "Insufficient corner shots"
Difficult to get good corner shots of house when it's so close to the fence
For those interested, you can get 1 house done for free, but I gather you don't get an obj file. I guess you could convert their 3D image file using Sketchup Make 2017
