Hi,

I dont think this is possible, but I'll ask anyway. Im wondering if it is possible to add parts of a model to a group? In the example I'm looking at I want to add all the horizontal arms of my spinners to an "All Horizontals" group. The same with the vertical arms of my spinners to the "All Verticals" group. I dont see anywhere where I can add anything other than full models to a group.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, that's called a submodel and people do it all the time.

First, make your submodel. Click the model in your layout, then in the property grid beside "Submodels" click the "..." next to "Click To Edit".

For the spinner vertical, the order you select the nodes may matter a lot.

Start at the bottom and work upwards.

Be sure to name the submodel, after typing the name click off of it (on the node list, say) as this is a "gotcha" / known bug.

Then, go to your verticals group. Search for your submodel and add it. (Make sure the include submodels box is checked, by default those will appear orange in the search list.)
