Hiya,
I've been learning xlights, and so far found it pretty good. I used HLS last time I did anything to do with lights and found it great with shortcut keys, especially for turning lights on etc.
As I've only got a small display, the effects that are there aren't crash hot, or I'm not learning them properly.
By small... 3 pixel trees, 4 x 7 pixel arches (don't ask), and three inverted V's for the window, and a candy cane.
As I'm using a mac, I can't use HLS. But really want to be able to do some of the chases etc. I've found out how to do it, but having to drag each effect to a cell is rather painful when I've used a shortcut key before.
Help? Or would I be better off bringing out a windows PC while I build the display?
