INK1003

INK1003 is an 8-bit LED Driver IC for RGB Pixels, possibly from Greeled Electronic. The IC is integrated into the 5050 LED. While INK1003 is more often found in 12V strips with built-in DC-DC converters, the IC is only 5V. INK1003 != 12V. It is similar to WS2812B from WorldSemi, but from a different manufacturer.

Notable Variation: 12V

INK1003 is offered through multiple vendors in a 12V configuration, with built-in dc-dc converters installed for every 30 LEDs. These DC-DC converters down-convert 12V power sources to the 5V that the INK1003 IC requires.
