I could really use some help. I'm trying to make a 15 panel (3 high x 5 wide) cabinet. I bought Ray Wu 3.91 outdoor modules and colorlight 5A-75E receiver card. I did get Ray to send me the .rcvbp file, but I can not get these panels to work. I've been trying for months. I've watched countless videos and still no progress. Is it possible that these panels simply will not work with my colorlight card?

My first suggestion will be to get a single panel working, dont try and get all of them together as a cabinet first.
Have you tried using the intelligent setup option in LEDVision to go through the panel setup, numbering the cells as the lights turn on, etc?

I have one panel working using the file Ray sent me. I have tried to use the intelligent set up, but it has not worked for me. When I get to the section asking how many lines light up, I get the 1st and 17th line to light up. I don't think it's supposed to do that. When I start numbering cells no lights come on. I have discovered that switching from port j1 to j2 in receiver parameters lights up the bottom half of panel 1. Switching port to j3 lights up the top of panel 2. J4 lights up the bottom of panel 2. Shouldn't an entire panel be on one j channel?

It is, and that means it's a 1/16 panel. So you would enter "2" into the box. The lines are not consecutive. If you had a 1/8 outdoor panel, four rows would light up (likely 1,9,17 and 25)

What Colorlight is essentially doing is outputting "1 line" of data - and the panel is electrically the equivalent of being 128x16 (instead of 64x32 that it physically is) - and row 17 is a continuation of row 1, etc.
This is why half the panel lights up with the J1/J2 stuff.

Once the card knows this, it can correctly output the data.
