What does $100 print...?

The printers are finishing up the last pieces from my first bulk order of PETG, so I thought I'd post what $100 (10kg) worth of filament looks like. I got a good deal on another 10kg ($89) so I'll have more stuff coming off the X1's soon.

Once my current prints finish I'll have:
- 7 100 node snowflakes
- 18 sets of 3, 5, and 8 node peace stakes
- 1 Tri-PVC arch mount
- 2 Single PVC arch mounts
- About a 1/4 roll of PETG leftover

I probably could have printed a little less infill and got some more arch mounts out of the 10kg of PETG, but I erred on the side of strength as these items will be outdoors in very cold temperatures (and sunlight to boot).

I was about to say nothing because a $100 bill isn't a printer! I'm glad you clarified what $100 worth of filament prints.

PS Prints look nice :D

was thinking that is super cheap filament then I realised its in freedombucks not dollarydos
Haha, well at $<10 a kg it is pretty cheap. The stuff we use when selling prints runs from $13-25 and its just PLA (but it runs perfectly every time).

Thanks for posting this. If nothing else, it makes me sure that I'll keep using coro for snowflakes... but the peace/forest stakes are much more interesting. What we really need to figure out is how to make more stuff for seed pixels using 3D printing, as coro is pretty miserable for that.

Where did you get the files for those stakes? I'm still debating doing a small forest but I am not that keen on doing all the splicing between stakes but that may change over the year.
