Hi guys,

If anyone could help that would be great. I was in the middle of sequencing my four singing trees through XLights when a debugging notice popped up and XLights shutdown. Luckily I had just saved it but when I went back into the sequence, the trees had changed to the same colour (I had them separate colours) and I cannot change them. Also in parts when I had only one tree down but now they are all lit up. It has even affected my other different sequences. I'm hoping someone will be able to help so I don't have to start all over again.

where's @keithsw1111 when you need him :)
in your xlights show directory there should be a backup folder, in there several folders
you could change show directory to one of these folders and see if the sequence is correct, if so copy it into you main show sequence

Good to hear! What was the issue, out of interest?

Sorry took a couple of days off from Christmas Lighting. For some reason there was an issue with the singing face effect. I have four trees and had them two different colours (boys and girls) and for some reason they've all changed to the one colour and I cant change it. Even in parts of the song where I may only have one tree meant to be on, they all come on. I've now just reopened what I saved the other day and its the same. I'm not sure what to do...

To close this out ... the issue here was overlapping channels ... so tree 4 was overwriting any changes made to trees 1-3 hence the perception that nothing was changing.

Check Sequence to the rescue ... it identified the problem and highlighted another unrelated problem where there was a missing node on each of the faces.
