oh wow, I didn't know any development had been done on the 682 at all, as the downloads page still shows 4.033 and nothing new since 2013! But there's significant improvements listed here...

yeah, just noticed I may have issues getting the Falcon from the US - hence all the discussions about bulk-buys. Much prefer a local supplier - plus the specs are also pretty damned good too!

    more pixels needed!!

Hey guys - I've been away from the scene for a bit, and it seems my E682's Sandevice controllers haven't really advanced at all - there have been no firmware upgrades for years now so they are limited in the number of universes/pixels they can support... I need way more than the 1000 or so...

    Pixel Spacing

wow, you have the PERFECT house for christmas lighting ;) And on a corner too!! you could go fully Griswold on that place!! icicles from that steep roofline.... wow As it's fairly close to the street, the standard 4" would be ok, but possibly a little bit close - 6" would be more...

    Pixel protection injection

This is a known problem with this particular type of pixel node which was addressed by a new type of pixel, epoxy filled ones: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/led-pixel-node-WS2801-DC5V-input-IP68-50pcs-a-string/701799_722405738.html which does seem to behave a lot better (as long as...

Yep, keen for my order to arrive from Ray with my first batch of Technicolours - glad to hear they're bright and colourfu, I'm using them for the house outline so that'll be perfect :)
