I really wonder if there is something wrong with your FM transmitter causing it to emit an additional signal. My FM transmitter i(running on 87.9) s located in a bench on my porch with my controller, a couple power supplies, and an RF transmitter. It is also within 2 feet of some of my lights...
So, that 12V plug is a power supply. There are some concerns with using a 12V wall adapter, like whether it is fused and whether it provides enough power for the lights you are going to run. You will need to check how many amps your lights will pull and compare it with the value on the wall...
You need to wire it to match your configuration in xLights. I'm attaching my configuration from xLights. The numbers are very different from yours, but hopefully it helps. First, the number of strings (by the red line) is how many ports it is set to use on your controller. Next, the number for...
So, some lights not coming on when you think they should and being on when you don't could be overlapping channels, try running a check sequence in xLights and see if it has any errors. Also, make sure your controller configuration is up to date, either use upload configuration or FPP Connect...
Welcome! Something you should understand is that, with most controllers, your pixels have power at all times. That means that fiddling with the connection can cause them to come on, and they won't turn off until they receive a data signal telling them to do so. Have you tried turning on test...
I just wanted to say thank you for this sequence. I had planned to make something like this for this year, and your sequence gave me a huge head start. The bus drivers in the morning really appreciate it.
It won't hurt anything to over power inject, especially if you do it correctly and break the positive connection between injection points. Otherwise, you are doubling up fuses.
As for the question of whether it's better to use xSchedule or FPP to run your show, I'm going to make some popcorn...
Have you tried using output to lights in xLights? That can bypass some settings and might give some clues to where the issue lies, depending on the result.
Those are Boscoyo mega tree strip and I attached a small stainless steel eye bolt at the top and bottom. I zip tie it at the top and run a bungee ball to the bottom for tension. They're 13 feet long with 2" spacing.
