    RPi Airplay Server

Stumbled across this https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=239964 It's an Airplay Server that can run off a RPi. Anyone have any experience or tested this out? I suppose it could be an alternative to an FM Transmitter. It would be interesting to see how well or even if it can...

Can Arduino or RPi be used for a very simple animated display?

You can plug the pixels directly to GPIO 18 and 19 on the Rpi (with appropriate power injection as needed) Then create sequences in Vixen or Xlights and load them up in FPP - it can be a simple chase sequences if you wish.

Answered FPP Pi3 GPIO to control a relay

Hi Grant, First off, note the Rpi GPIO pins you are using for the relays. For Example Relay1 = GPIO13, Relay2 = GPIO6, Relay3 = GPIO5 etc. Then in FPP, map the first GPIO Output type to StartCh=1 and set this GPIO13. Proceed with the other relays. You may note that I selected Invert since my...

    Panel Mount Pigtail connector

Hi David, Yes, I thought the same. Although, Ray mentioned the length of the screw portion is 6cm. Perhaps there is a nut that can be sourced elsewhere which can be used to fix the connector on either side of the panel. Just not sure if there is a thread that is suitable. May need to head...

    Panel Mount Pigtail connector

Has anyone used these panel mount pigtail connectors from Ray Wu in their controller boxes? Do the panel screws allow enough length to securely fasten the string-side connector...

    Females have the POWER

Does any use or know where to get Panel/Case Mounted Female Pigtail connectors? I'm not a big fan of having the female pigtail cables coming out of the box (just my OCD) There are of course other panel connector options around. But rather than having a different set of connectors for the...

    Hamilton Lights Build

Hi James, Did you make the F16 cover yourself or purchase from somewhere? I like it - but does indeed need some kind of direct cooling around it (just to be safe :) ) Cheers, Chris

    Females have the POWER

HI guys, So i've been (very slowly) building my lighting kit together - slowly amassing pixel strings , F48 controller, Diffo boards, Disto boards etc. Thinking more about how these all "connect" together - in particular with regards to Power Injection. I have come to use the phrase...

    5v WS2811 deals

I actually am also contemplating the F48 + receiver boards myself. I like the idea of just running ethernet cables out to the receiver boards, then having the pixel cables closer to the props. But still researching and learning :)
