does this look right to people cause i just did a test with a multi meter and the middle pin is connected to the green and yellow wire im about to loose my mind

just tested a fresh row on 5v wiring is perfect and they ran for 5 min no issue connected to 12v and bam random flash of lights and then nothing

i have double checked the wiring should the pixels if they are 12v work on 5v at all?

mine which are 4 weeks old are copping some rain atm 3 days so far no issue my tm1804's have all failed so this will be a good test

currently have 5 strings of the white up just bought new will find out i guess in the next 2 weeks as lots of rain is predicted

just lost the last string on my mini trees so tm1804 are now dead to me just got in the ws2811

Tried lowering the voltage to 11.5v about same time for fault to occur so kinds rules out heating to burning off more power then needed I have each string only 50 pixels long and have added a earth on the end of the run still no fix

They are 12v and I have the psu set at 12.02v

they have been outside but appear to be fully sealed

hey guys well after getting a couple of pixels last year i went to put them back up this year to find about half dont work now i know its just one not passing data on but after i fixed that issue after letting them run for 4 hours they failed again if i let them rest for a day they work agian...

so i have put up today 3000 leds with about only 500 pixels will get a pic soon feeling bad i didnt start earlier in the year getting ready so many things i wish i had of changed oh well

yeah guys our street has a xmas street party every year is on tomorrow night actually. next door i have new neighbours and they saw me putting out my lights and they are keen to get involved last year i gave the old neighbour some iciles to put up
