It’s called strapping brace .8mm thick 25mm wide 30m roll 21.00 you just have to redrill holes to suit 12mm or 9mm it’s available in stainless with 1inch increments the galv stuff is approx 2inch increments

Best cutting tool (large sheets with curves)
Hot knife or foam cutter plenty of shapes and different tips are available also referred to as a hot wire cutting tool
