Mine arrived on the mail plane on Friday. Looks like I have some work to do, just have to wait for the paste to arrive with the strobes.
Thanks heaps Matt.

Hi,
Why not spend some more money. Put me down for the following;
Username: Nath_From_NT
BOM 1 qty: 20
BOM 2 qty: 20
BOM 3 qty: 20
PCB qty: 20
I'm in on the ACL strobe buy also, can I arrange shipping for the both at once to cut down on costs, or is the cost vs hassle too much Eddy...
Hi Alan,
I'd like to take you up on your offer also. I'm not all that flash with a soldering iron. I only have the one set of 45. I have the pickit so flashing isn't needed, I'd like to be able to say I did something with them so their almost DIY :D
Cheers, it's a great offer.
Nathan
Kel, cleaned up on the Barra last week, but it's abit cold for them now (25 degrees C) but I'll be at them again next week!
Matt, I was in Palmerston for 3 years. Not a bad spot, but I'm loving this bush life. Takes me 30 seconds to walk to work, fishing, camping, bosses 400km away...
Hi all,
I'm not really a new member, but I haven't been on here since last year. I've recently moved from Darwin in the NT to a small remote town called Yarralin. You could look it up but it's not really on the map.
I put a lot of money and effort into last years display, my first with RGB...
Guys, when you talk about injecting power, is that by running a cable from the V+ on the controller to the next strip, or straight from the PSU itself?
I'm running a PixAd8 with 6803 strip. My PSU's are in the garage and not with the controllers.
Cheers,
Nathan.
Hi all,
I knocked up a couple of prototype mini trees today and I'd like to get some feedback on which works better.
The first is a "Belardo Lights" J tree http://belardolights.com/jtree.html
Mine has 100 12mm 5v RGB modules on it, all of which face the viewer.
The second is a standard...
I have some of these http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/307297826-DMX-512-Module-decoder-DC12V-input-P-N-LN-DMXMODEL-3CH-12V-wholesalers.html which I purchased for some corro stuff I'll be doing this year.
I plan on daisy-chaining 3-4 of them together off my DC48's. I cracked one open...
I'd be interested in at least 3 David. Like Steve, I'd like to protect my stuff from any dodgy PSU's.
You always come up with the good stuff David, especially for those of us who can't build things from scratch.
I actually used 240volt LOR boards last year and it worked quite well, but I was new to all this computer controlled stuff back then I think it was just easier to buy a couple of LOR boards and use my existing stuff rather than go DC and have to mod controllers and lights etc. I'm trying to get...
