Reflashing can be a real PITA. You have to be quick about it. It took me 3-4 tries before, being successful.
Did you get the instructions for updating, in the downloaded file?
Check to see the voltage from the PS is at 12v. There was just a post about the same problem. I believe turning the voltage down, from 12.5v to 12v fixed the same issue.
Re: Updated P12S, not my tree dont work :( or tests, nothing.... any help?
Andy Harrison made a new video, regarding updating the firmware. Here is a link.

The ws2812b is a ws2811 with the ic built into the led. So choosing ws2811 on the configuration page is correct. I would mess with the baud rate. I've had some strips go as low as a 450 baud rate. It's a real PITA to deal with, but......... a small price to pay for such a big reward.
Also, have...
All depends on the length of the data wire. I believe I had to set my baud rate at 625 while bench testing lights. Only had a couple inches between lights and controller.
From what I've read, for ws2811, is about 20'. As for using null pixels, I'm not sure how the alphpix ui is set up. With my J1sys controllers, you can add nulls in the string configuration. So, if I add 2 nulls, the pixel count starts after the first 2 pixels.
There are also, pixel extenders...
If you are using the 30/10 pixel strips, you would draw 36 Watts/3 Amps, if all of the strip was on white. Multiply that by 10 strips and you get 360 Watts/ 30 Amps. You could pull this off with a couple of 300 Watt PS.
If you are worried about voltage drop, being your display is spread out...
I did ask ed about the jumpers on the bottom board. He said, the jumpers on the bottom board were for his purposes, except for the jumpers for the dmx output.
Which I'm still not sure, what the jumpers do, or where they go for the dmx outputs.
