Yes, I would like to attend, but only on the Sunday.


As this is my first mini, can you tell me, is it like a lecture type setup, or is it like a comic-con type thing where I can walk around looking at different stuff?


Will there also be someone there who sells Fairy lights, rope lights etc?


I will have one extra person.

The mini is a mixture of presentations for learning, Q&A, hands on, and visual demo's.

You'll learn the most by attending both days - Saturday will include controller setups & designing a display among other things. The Sunday for pixel tree and little more group-based discussions. But I understand not everyone has the full weekend available to them to attend.

The Adelaide Mini 2013 will be streamed out via UStream at ustream.tv/channel/adelaidemini for anyone not attending (e.g. due to geographical location) however as always, you learn the most by actually being there! :)

OK all, well tomorrow is the day.. The day we all gather and assist each other in the learning curve of Christmas Lights.

Its shaping to be a great weekend. I hope everyone enjoys themselves and that if anything, you walk away with a greater understanding of other ways to accomplish this journey we have all decided to partake on.

Thank you to all who came today, I feel it was a very good day, although we did run overtime and did not complete all the presso's, tomorrow we will catch up and have some more fun
 
Thank you to all who has attended the Adelaide mini this weekend. What an experience not just for me, but for all who were part of what I feel was a very successul event.

Home from the mini, what a great weekend, thx to the organisers and presenters. Also thx to the prize donators, I was lucky enough to come home with a SanDevices E6804 pixel controller.
 
Had a great time at the mini, thanks to all who took the time to talk to me and my hubby, new member ( the Grinch) . We certainly learnt quite a lot, but im sure we will be calling on a few of you again just to make sure we buy the right things. Mega pixel tree here we come!!!

It is great to see so many other addicted people looking to learn and share, this hobby is growing every year and you can say CLAP is spreading to every part of this great state of SA.
For everyone who asked me questions about my tree, thank you. I enjoyed sharing and maybe helping people realise that the next step up to pixels is achievable and spectacular, it would appear that PAP is getting stronger and stronger.
If anyone wanted more info regarding the tree feel free to ask in chat or send me a PM, I am happy to try to assist and pass on what was learnt from others on this site.
