Due to other commitments, unfortunately I cannot attend this year, disappointing...

Hi All, great to see we have 2 thirds of places filled now!
Still taking suggestions for topics to be covered and any volunteers to present said topics.

I can talk about nearly anything. Some of the fancier stuff in Xlights and FPP will be above me but most anything else I could rabbit on a bit about.

Not sure if it has been done before in any other minis, but would a topic around "what else do i need" be worthwhile?
Sure you've bought some lights, a controller and couple of PSUs. What about cable, pigtails, heatshrink, cable strippers, heat gun, silicone, zipties, soldering iron, solder, conduit, conduit cutter, screws, nuts, bolts, box/enclosures, cable glands, cat5/6 cable, network switches, pi/bbb, usb stick, micro sd cards, pcb feet.....

A "how to" on some of the tools could be worthwhile too. How to use a multimeter, bootlace ferrule crimper, cat5 crimper (aaaaaargh), soldering iron etc.

Is that your way of volunteering to demonstrate those items??!
