Also I would never use two wires for the data as it can cause coruption of the signal. Had this problem myself with strip doing wierd things.

In one of his pictures it shows only one wire connected to the P12R for data so it shouldnt be that unless its connected at the strip end. but a very good suggestion.

Problem solved!
Seems like the extension cables that i have made up have a wiring problem. Either i have connected one end backwards or my pig tails have been supplied wrong. Ill need to bell out the cables to see where the problem lays.
