Just a warning to anyone tempted to open up units like this. They carry lethal voltages inside and can kill you.

These are a magnitude more dangerous to work on than the typical 75W disco strobes.

DON'T BUY FROM THAT SELLER, i bought 10 of those strobes from him last year and all 10 either blew up in the first 10 secs on being on or DOA. he only offered a $10 refund per machine and claimed i could fix myself.

Hopefully you reported him as his current advert claims DOA policy and satisfaction 100%.

Yes, be wary of stuff that seems to be too cheap. A customer of ours sent us a sample of an item that they want to import. Metal chassis, but only a 2 pin cord and plug, no mains fuse, etc. Shudder.

I did buy 3 of the 62 LED strobe lights from this seller last year and they worked awsome, but I did not pay full price as I waited for separate auctions and got them for around the $15 to $20 mark each delivered.
Being a 240V item I used them under the eaves as wall washes.
