Another Arduino pixel controller

Ok i know this thread is old, is there anyway to make this still work, i tired using version 3.0 of the Fastled library but it still wont compile. looking to use a Ethernet shield on a uno. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have managed to get it to work by using old libraries and an old Arduino IDE.
You need to get ones that where released around the time the code was released.
