Totally agree. Paul is great with his service and we should be supporting Australian businesses where possible.Paul from LightItUp is a great Aussie supplier with ScottLed pixels that go pretty well

Also he's an awesome sponsor of the minis in Australia so I can't recommend his service enough. Top seller.
I remember hearing Ray's name from years ago. If he's been around for that long, he's probably got to be good. I have an email address for him at rita-light.com. Any idea if that's still current? The website doesn't exist. The usual Chinese vendors are on AliExpress. Ray Wu, ETOP, etc. Although their shipping prices are very high, which is why some people email & pay via PayPal.
Someone I know has had good success with 5v bullet pixels from 'BlueBell lighting store'.

ray@rita-light.com is the current known email. I think he also has extra emails under 'sales01@', etc.Just ordered from Paul and have custom strings coming to make my life easier and pricing very competitive. highly recommend!!Totally agree. I'm pretty much exactly the same stance, used Ray my whole blinky life but have used Light It Up for prebuys and local turn aroundThink you can't go wrong with either Ray or Paul I have been with Ray exclusively for past 10 years and been very happy. Depends on who you decide to go with in the first instance. Light It Up LED is local if that helps. I do endorse the recommendations for Light It Up LEDs as he supports the mini's with product as do the other sellers
What year was this batch from?Forgive me for dredging up an old thread but after posting this I bought several hundred dollars' worth of pixels from Ray. They were delivered as agreed and Ray was communicative the whole time. No problems there. The lights looked fine. No problems there.
But for each the last two years I had a dud pixel which took out entire segments of my meticulously laid out pixels. It was an absolute bust. I didn't have the time to rewire the pixels I put in one by one onto the roofline, so the whole show was dark for most of the season. I'm beyond annoyed because my kids were sad the show was dark.
You get the picture, I won't belabor the point. But I ran the supposedly "cheap" pixels from Amazon for years and never once had this problem. I had a dud pixel with Ray's product that took out my entire segment for 2 out of 2 years. Maybe his pixels have worked well for everyone else here, but I do not recommend Ray's product at all. I don't know who is better (too bad DIYLEDExpress is gone, their stuff worked great!) but I cannot recommend Ray's product, based on my experience. All I have is a pile of very expensive trash.

I don't understand how 2 pixels failing equates to a pile of junk? A single pixel failure a year seems darn good to me. I lost a lot more than 2 pixels this year and just carried on with what worked until I got around to fixing the failures.Forgive me for dredging up an old thread but after posting this I bought several hundred dollars' worth of pixels from Ray.
