Bypass MFC and other tips

Hi All,
First time me and glad I found the site before I ripped my fairy lights off the roof of our pergola and cut them up into little pieces to help me feel better...anyway, I want to bypass this controller and would appreciate help with that. Also, any tips on the best way to rejoin the wires. Thanks

To run them off the original plugpack you still need part of the circuitry.

thanks David for such a quick reply.

If I don't want to use the original circuitry, what are my options? Is it the total removal explanation on the bypass wiki or something else?

Yes, using a diode bridge as per my wiki article is also an option. I wrote that page so long ago I'd forgotten about that section!
