Can't connect F16v3 to laptop

Help. I'm trying to set up my new Falcon controller and can't connect to the web interface page. I have tried changing the type of network connection and the IP address. I have changed all the cables and have even succesfully daisy changed my old, Sandevices, controller through the falcon. But no matter what I change on the OLED and the computer, I cannot access the interface page. I presume I am doing something stupid but what? Any advice gratefully received.

What is the IP address of your computer and the falcon?

Typically they need to be the same except the last part - eg 192.168.1.x

It is easiest to start by hooking it up to your home network and use dhcp to give it an address. Then you can change it to a fixed address using the web page (or just leave it).

I checked the IP address of my laptop ethernet adapter and plugged that into the Falcon. No joy.

Just got it. I had the same last three numerals. Changed them and got there. Thanks Daryl and Martin
