Hi gurus,

I’ve started a new P5 build and flipped from using octo to colorlight. I’ve managed to be able to get the led software to talk to the card but cannot seem to get any panel output. I’ve tried using intelligent setting and manual settings based on googling suggested setting for Ray Wu supplied P5 outdoor panels.

Anyone have any expertise on this to help guide me? I really prefer to stick with colorlight but might have to revert to octo even if just to test the new P5s are ok (power etc).

Tried all these but still cannot get it to work. When using the intelligent setup, I have no panel outputs. I've swapped data cables out with known good ones. I've tested 5v on the panels is ok. Nothing displayed.

On, the color light card is a small test button. You can press the button and do various tests without any use of software and is strait hardware only. This can help determine if the card is working properly or not.

So you've never seen any light come out of the panel even in LEDVision? Do you have any photos of the panel back, cabling, etc.? And these are the same panels that did work with the cape?
All brand new panels (outdoor) from Ray Wu. I’ve pinged him to see if he has a config file. When powering on, there is a brief lighting of some pixels and then off. Even tried test button on CL card. Nothing.

Btw is a 5A-75E version card. Brand new via local supplier. Card leds light to show data incoming. Managed to flash latest firmware.

A receiver card and a panel will work with the test button on the receiver card,
If it doesn't then there is a power supply issue or a cable issue.
Start at the basic's first. once that is correct,
Then its programming the right panel info into the receiver card.
Then its setting up FPP and Xlights.
Say Boo in the Chat Room if you wish faster responces
