I had my P5 panels set up last year using LedVision. Tried to connect again with LedVision and keep getting message that No Receiver Card detected. It also keeps saying that the NIC is not connected. I originally thought the Colorlight card was dead so replaced it. I also plugged in a new USB to NIC adapter and it still says it is disconnected when I'm in Ledvision. So I deleted Ledvision and reinstalled it and same problem.

When I plug in my switch into the NIC it works, so I figure it must be something in LED vision which is disconnecting the NIC. Any ideas.

Ok will try that tomorrow. Just for the sake of others, does anyone know what would have caused it to stop?

Ok I ran LedVision as admin and it still doesn't detect the card. Still getting the same error message that the USB is disconnected. On the Colorlight card it has a red and greed leds illuminated. I also then loaded the software on a laptop and tried to connect but getting the same message. So I swapped out the card with a new one as I thought that maybe something is wrong with the card, but getting the same message.

So I tried pulling the network cable from the color card and plugged it into a switch just so see what happened and the disconnected message disappeared, but of course couldn't detect the colour card as it wasn't connected to the switch.

So I'm thinking that the card isn't communicating back to the PC for some reason, but cant work out why, especially as it is doing the same with 2 different cards. I have also swapped out the cable with a new one and still the same issue.

I have run out of ideas. Any others that I should try?

I am running LedVision 8.5 but have also tried older versions of the software.
