Complete noob

Hello everyone,
Just thought I would drop a line and say Hi.
I'm completely new to this and have only set up static displays.
My partner is an electrician, so I thought with his help we could have animated displays down pat.. haha who am I kidding, he might as well explain things in a different language, I swear he isn't speaking in English.
So, here I am. Just going to look and have a read of what's what, because right now I'm clueless.

- check out the videos and guides
- look out for the minis held in most state capitals in April/may/June.

There are many people around who have picked this up in the past 12 months and are making huge progress and avoiding many expensive pitfalls.
